Reiki supports your body's natural ability to heal on all levels. It supports healing of all kinds and may relieve pain and acute symptoms very quickly. It also supports spiritual growth. Reiki can affect each person differently but it always works for the recipient's highest good. Reiki works on the body as a whole, balancing the emotions, bringing clarity to the mind and reconnecting to the ‘true self’ which in turn impacts on physical well-being.
I practice visualization regularly! Why? Because the Universe responds to your vibration, A.K.A Feelings. I close my eyes and visualize exactly what I desire using all of my senses to imagine the situation occurring exactly as I'd hope, right now. I create a clear image and feeling of what it is I want to manifest. I focus on this regularly until it becomes my reality. I select one or two particular areas of my life to focus on at a time (health, relationship, creative project, finances, etc.)
Many of you already know, but some of you may not, that I recently got married and then celebrated our honeymoon in Bali. Visiting Bali had always been a dream of mine and my awesome hubby helped make that a reality. It was a wonderful place. I adored the people, the culture, the natural beauty and spirituality of Bali. We visited many beautiful places, holy sites and experienced some amazing things, such as spiritual cleansing in the sacred springs of Tirta Empul at Tempak Siring Temple.
On our flight home, I was reflecting on our time in Bali and thinking about some of the lessons that I packed up to take with me as I move forward on my life’s path. Most of these are ideas that I already know and teach about but were presented to me to apply and practice during my trip to Bali. Here are the 5 top lessons I learned in Bali:
Conscious and intentional prayers are when you mindfully connect with a higher power (God, your Higher Self, the Universe, angels, etc.) and ask for help, guidance or support.
Have you been faithful with your prayers, but feel frustrated when they are not answered?
Here are 7 reasons why your prayers aren't being answered.
I wanted to share a simple meditative prayer for protection that I use nearly every day. Working with the golden ray of light and Archangel Michael brings in strong protective powers. This is not only good for physical protection but is essential in protecting yourself from other people drawing on your subtle energy body (aura and chakras) and your spiritual power.
This is a quick meditation that you could do each morning before starting your day. You’ll feel surrounded and protected by golden healing light. And you’ll be uplifted and resilient to the lower energies around you.
If you pray to God, the angels, Jesus, or your own higher-self, it’s important to really listen for answers. You must talk less and listen more. Let go of worries about the outcome (a worried mind is full of mental chatter and cannot hear guidance clearly). Trust that God and the angels have heard your prayers. Remain in faith with inner peace and calm and listen. If it seems like they’re not answering your prayers, it’s probably because you’re not really listening to their answers. Find a quiet place with the intention of listening to the angels (or God, Jesus, the Universe, your higher-self).
This memory recently came up in my facebook newsfeed because it was a few years ago this week, that I had the amazing opportunity to be on the Dr. Oz Show. It was so much fun! I received an email from Dr. Fuhrman asking for success stories from women who have achieved weight loss or healed from an illness by eating as a nutritarian.
Several years prior to this appearance, I was studying and learning everything I could about how to heal naturally and reverse fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. I was fed-up with the side effects of prescription drugs and I knew there had to be another way!
Overthinking and chronic worrying lead to overwhelm and un-needed stress!
Perhaps you've been worried because you're going through so many changes right now, or because you have empathically picked up on other people's fear-based energies.
Maybe you’re the type of person who always wants everyone to be happy and you worry something is wrong when you can’t make everything ok.
On days where you feel tired, you may be a little more emotionally vulnerable and more prone to worry.
For whatever reason, you just can’t seem to overcome overthinking and chronic worry.
Remember that 99% of what you worry about never happens. Worry is a complete waste of time and a drain on your energy. But, don't feel bad about yourself if you worry a lot. We are human beings.
